Alessia Moretti lives in Milan, and her education in console pricing began behind a retail counter in her twenties. Selling hardware, bundles, and subscriptions to skeptical parents gave her a near-infinite patience for one question — "is this the good deal, or the deal they want me to think is good?" — and a knack for answering it in under a minute.

Now she does the same thing in writing. Before she recommends anything she cross-references console pricing against the PC edition of the same title, checks whether a subscription would work out cheaper than buying outright, and flags the bundles that look generous but quietly leave out the content you actually wanted.

She's a single-player loyalist who finishes what she starts, keeps a shelf of physical editions she swears she'll get to, and believes most people overpay for one simple reason: nobody ever showed them where to look.
