How to play
Your fleet and the enemy fleet are placed automatically the moment the page loads, so you can fire on your very first tap. Pick a square in enemy waters, and a hit turns red while a miss shows a small ring. Turns alternate: after your shot, the computer opponent fires back at your board using the same rule you’d expect from a fair opponent, hunting randomly until it lands a hit, then probing the squares around it. Sink every enemy ship before yours goes under and you win.
The enemy’s fleet layout is generated from today’s date, so everyone who plays sees the same “daily fleet.” Your own ships get a fresh random layout each game, and you can reshuffle them before your first shot if you want a different start. Your best score, measured in fewest shots to win, and your day streak are saved on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.

Fleet Hunt keeps the part of Sea Battle that actually carries the game: a hidden grid, a turn-based hunt for ships, and the small dopamine hit of a confirmed sink. The daily fleet mirrors Sea Battle’s habit-building design, a shared challenge that resets once a day, and the AI plays fair, no reading your ship positions, just a reasonable hunt-and-target strategy once it lands a hit.
What we left out is everything that turns a grid game into a full game. There is no real online multiplayer here, so you are always playing against the on-device computer, not another person. There is no ranked ladder or matchmaking, no cosmetic ship skins to unlock or buy, and no ads between rounds. It is one board, one opponent, one clean round that resolves in a couple of minutes.
