Block Craft 3D promotional artwork showing colorful voxel buildings

Block Craft 3D turned “just place a few blocks” into one of the most downloaded creative games on Android, mostly because there is no fail state, only your next idea. We wanted that same freedom without an install, so we built Block Foundry, a voxel building sandbox that runs right here on this page. It is rendered in WebGL with shaded blocks, soft ambient shadowing, and drifting fog, and you are placing your first block within seconds of loading. Free, no download, no signup.

Tap Start, then look around and tap a spot to drop a block. A ghost outline shows today’s build target if you want a goal, or switch to free build and make whatever you like.

How to play

Every day brings a new build target, shown as a translucent ghost outline over the baseplate: a tower, a cottage, a pyramid, a plus-shaped beacon, a gateway, or a staircase, sized a little differently each time. Fill in a ghost cell with any colored block and it lights up, and your completion percentage climbs in the header. Prefer to build without a target? One tap in the menu switches to free build.

On a phone, the left pad moves you, dragging the right side of the screen looks around, and a clean tap places or removes a block depending on the mode button. On a keyboard: WASD to move, mouse to look, click to place, right-click to remove, F to toggle flying, V to switch between first and third person, and U to undo your last block. Nine colors sit in the hotbar at the bottom, picked with keys 1 through 9 or a tap. Everything you build, your best completion percentage, and your day streak are saved on your device, and nothing leaves your browser.

How it compares to Block Craft 3D

Block Foundry keeps the part of Block Craft 3D that hooks people in the first minute: free placement and removal of colored blocks in a real 3D space, a first-person view you can fly or walk through, and the small dopamine hit of watching a shape come together. We added a daily build target with a completion score and undo, since a page built to hold your attention needs more structure than an empty void, and building toward a shape you can actually finish is satisfying in a way endless free-for-all sometimes is not.

What we left out is nearly everything that makes the real app a long-term game. There is no online multiplayer, no visiting other players’ worlds, no huge persistent map, and no in-game currency, shop, or progression to unlock new block types. Our plot is a single bounded baseplate that resets to a fresh target each day, and every color is available from the start. Fun Games For Free has spent years tuning crafting recipes, seasonal items, and social features on top of the core loop, and none of that is here.

So when should you get the real thing? If you finish today’s shape and immediately want to keep building on the same world tomorrow, or you want to see what your friends made, the full app is worth installing. Our version is the free sample of the loop; Block Craft 3D is the persistent world built around it.

Block Craft 3D is free on Android, with an optional in-app currency for extra content. It is the version worth installing if you want your build to stick around past today and to explore worlds other players have made.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play Block Craft 3D in a browser?

Fun Games For Free does not publish an official browser version of Block Craft 3D. Block Foundry, the game on this page, is our own original voxel builder inspired by the same place-and-remove-blocks loop, and it runs in any modern browser on phone or desktop. For the real Block Craft 3D you need the Android app.

Is this the real Block Craft 3D?

No. Block Foundry is an original game we built, inspired by the building mechanics that made Block Craft 3D popular. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Fun Games For Free in any way. All colors, textures, and sounds in our version are generated by our own code, and the download links above point to the official app.

Does my build save?

Yes, on your device. Every block you place or remove is stored in your browser’s local storage and restored when you come back, for as long as that day’s target is live. A fresh target arrives at midnight, which is also how your day streak grows. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Is it free?

Completely. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, and no data collection. Block Craft 3D itself is free with optional in-app currency, which is one more reason to try the loop here first.

Do I have to follow the daily target?

No. The ghost outline is there if you want a goal and a completion score to beat, but the free build toggle turns it off instantly so you can build anything you like with no target at all. Either way, your best completion percentage and streak keep tracking in the background on your device.
