How to play
Your job is to feed Nib, the indigo creature waiting at the bottom of each level. A snack hangs from one or more ropes. Swipe across a rope to cut it, and physics does the rest: the snack falls, swings, or gets carried upward by bubbles you can pop with a tap. Land it in Nib’s mouth to clear the level, and try to brush all three stars on the way down for a full rating.
On desktop, the number keys 1 to 3 cut ropes, B pops a bubble, and R restarts. Restarting is instant and free, so experiment: most of the later levels want you to cut mid-swing, not at rest.
There are 22 handmade levels plus a daily puzzle that is the same for everyone on any given day. Your stars and day streak are saved on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Cut the Rope
Snip & Snack keeps the loop that made Cut the Rope famous: rope physics you can feel, a three-star target on every level, bubbles that float the snack upward, and the timing game of cutting during a swing instead of before it. A level takes 10 to 60 seconds, and the instant restart makes “one more try” the default state, exactly like the original.
We left most of the product out on purpose. Cut the Rope ships hundreds of levels across themed boxes, and each box introduces a new gadget: air cushions, magic hats, suction cups, teleporting whoosh effects. We have ropes, rails, and bubbles, and that is it. Om Nom himself is also a real character with animations, reactions, and an entire animated series behind him. Nib is a hungry rectangle with expressive eyes. We are not pretending otherwise.
So when should you get the real thing? If you clear our 22 levels and want more, the full game is the obvious next step. It plays offline, the gadget variety keeps the puzzles fresh for weeks rather than an afternoon, and the level count is roughly twenty times ours. Ours is the free sample. Every day the game generates one extra level from the date, so everyone in the world gets the same daily layout. Solving it grows your day streak, and coming back tomorrow brings a new one. It sits on the far left of the level strip, before level 1.
