How to play Ringfall
On phones, the left pad moves your character and dragging the right side of the screen turns the camera. On a laptop or desktop, WASD moves and click-dragging the mouse looks around. Either way, the TAG button fires a short-range energy orb at the nearest rival in your sights, and BUILD spends one scrap to drop a wall panel in front of you for instant cover.
Scrap sits on the ground as glowing amber pickups. Walk over one to collect it, then spend it on a wall when you need to block a rival or buy a few seconds against the storm. You get a short grace period after dropping in before any rival will actually come after you, so the first stretch of a run is safe to explore and loot. Your best score, best placement, and daily streak save to your device automatically. Nothing about your run leaves your browser.
How it compares to Fortnite
Ringfall keeps the shape of a Fortnite match: drop onto an island, watch a storm ring shrink and force everyone toward the center, scavenge a resource, put up cover on demand, and eliminate opponents until one player is left. A round runs about one to two minutes, which is close to how long the closing stretch of a real Fortnite match feels once the circle gets small.
What it drops is everything around that core loop. There is no building system with ramps, floors, and edits, just one instant wall panel. There is no weapon variety, no loot tiers, no cosmetics, no seasons, and no other real players, since the six rivals here are simple bots tuned for a quick solo round. We also kept the combat completely cartoonish on purpose: your attack is a colorful energy orb that eliminates a rival with a burst of particles, not a weapon.
If you finish a Ringfall round and want the real thing, the building, the map rotations, the crews, and the live events are all still exclusive to Fortnite. Think of Ringfall as a five-minute answer to "what does that endgame circle actually feel like," not a substitute for the full game.
