How to play
On a phone, drag the joystick in the bottom-left corner to walk and drag anywhere else on the screen to look around. On a keyboard, use WASD to walk and drag with the mouse (or the arrow keys) to turn the camera. Walk into a glowing node and the fight opens automatically: Attack always works and builds energy, Skill costs 30 energy for a bigger hit, and Ultimate needs a full bar for a big hit plus a small heal. The enemy attacks back every turn, telegraphed with a short warning before it lands.
Clear the enemy and a portal lights up at the far end of the chamber. Walk through it to go deeper. Six chambers make up a full daily trial, and the sixth always ends in a tougher guardian fight. The chamber layouts and enemy strength reset every day from the same seed, so everyone is playing the same trial. Your best depth and streak save on your device only. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Honkai: Star Rail
Starfall Trials keeps the part of the loop that actually makes Honkai: Star Rail’s combat interesting: a resource you manage turn to turn, a basic attack that is always safe, a skill that trades energy for damage, and an ultimate that pays off patience. The daily chamber run gives it the same “one more attempt” pull as the real game’s exploration, compressed into a couple of minutes instead of an evening.
Everything around that core is gone on purpose. There is no character roster, no elemental weakness triangle, no relic farming, no story, and no warp banner to pull on. Honkai: Star Rail is a full turn-based RPG with dozens of playable characters, years of story content, and a genuinely deep team-building layer; Starfall Trials is a single explorer with three buttons and six chambers. We are not interested in putting a randomized-currency mechanic into a browser toy, so we left that whole system out entirely.
Use Starfall Trials for a quick combat fix between other things, on a device where a multi-gigabyte install isn’t an option, or as a taste of the turn-based rhythm before you decide whether to download the real game.
