Meme Generator by ZomboDroid built its whole app around one habit: drop in a photo, slap bold white text on top and bottom, done. That top-text/bottom-text loop is why the app has stuck around on Android for over a decade. We built a free browser version of that same loop, called Caption Studio, so you can make the caption without installing anything first.

How to use it
Tap “Upload a photo” to bring in your own picture, or pick one of the three blank presets if you just want a text meme. Two captions start filled in at the top and bottom. Tap either one to edit the text, then drag it anywhere on the canvas with a finger or a mouse. Selected a caption with the keyboard instead? The arrow keys nudge it in small steps, and holding shift moves it further per press.
The text size slider and color picker apply to whichever caption is selected, and a couple of emoji stamps are there for extra flair. When it looks right, hit Download to save the PNG. Everything runs in your browser: your photo is read locally and never leaves the page, and your last font size, color, and sticker choice are remembered on your device for next time.
