Retirement Calculator by BOSC Tech Labs is the app people open when “someday” starts to feel like a real number. The question is simple: save this much, starting now, and what do you actually end up with? We built NestArc, a free retirement projection tool that runs right here in your browser, no install and no signup required. Move a slider and the projected balance and the growth chart update instantly.
Project your nest egg
It opens with a working example already loaded: age 30, retiring at 65, $10,000 saved today, $300 a month going in, at a 7% expected annual return. Drag the sliders to match your own numbers.
How to use it
Set five things: your current age, the age you plan to retire, what you have saved today, how much you add each month, and the annual return you expect. The headline number is your projected balance at your chosen retirement age, computed by growing your existing savings and every future monthly contribution at that return, compounded monthly. The chart’s indigo line is that projected balance, the sky-blue line underneath is only what you put in, and the shaded gap between them is investment growth doing the work over the years.
Try pushing your current age down by five years while leaving everything else the same. On most settings the final balance jumps more than a five-year delay in contributions would suggest, because compounding needs time more than it needs a larger paycheck. Your inputs are saved on your device only, so they are still there the next time you open the page. The projection assumes a constant return every year, which real markets never actually deliver, so treat the number as an estimate you control, not a forecast anyone can promise.
How it compares to Retirement Calculator
We should be straight about what this is. NestArc answers one question well: given these inputs, roughly what you end up with, and how fast the chart shows the answer. Retirement Calculator by BOSC Tech Labs goes considerably further, handling inflation adjustments, multiple savings accounts, and tax-advantaged versus taxable projections, and letting you save and revisit different retirement scenarios over time. It works offline once installed and is built specifically for the kind of detailed mutual fund and retirement planning that a single browser page cannot reasonably replace.
We kept the core loop: change a number, watch the projection move. We dropped inflation modeling, account types, and saved scenarios, on purpose, because a page you land on mid-search should give you a usable estimate in ten seconds, not a form with a dozen fields.
Our honest advice: use NestArc when you are curious what an extra $100 a month buys you by retirement, or when you want to see compounding in action before committing to a plan. Install the full app once you are building an actual retirement strategy across multiple accounts, factoring in inflation, or want to save specific scenarios to revisit.

If you’re also modeling shorter-term growth on a lump sum, our compound interest calculator shows the same curve for a single savings pot, and our EMI calculator covers the borrowing side of the ledger.
Frequently asked questions
How does the retirement calculator work?
It grows your current savings and every future monthly contribution at your chosen annual return, compounded monthly, from your current age to your retirement age. That is the standard formula behind most retirement projections: a lump sum growing on its own plus a stream of contributions each growing from the month it lands. The calculator above runs that math live as you move the sliders, so you can see exactly how each input changes the outcome.
Is this the official Retirement Calculator app?
No. NestArc is an original tool we built, inspired by the projection problem Retirement Calculator solves. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to BOSC Tech Labs Private Limited in any way. If you want inflation adjustments, multiple account types, and saved scenarios, get the official app from the stores above.
Is this retirement calculator free?
Yes, completely. There is no signup, no download, and no usage limit. The page runs entirely in your browser and keeps working without a connection once it has loaded. Your last inputs are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device, so they are still there when you come back.
Are the projected numbers investment advice?
No. This is an estimate based on the numbers you enter, assuming a constant annual return that real markets do not actually deliver. It does not account for inflation, taxes, fees, or market volatility. Treat the projection as a way to understand how compounding behaves, not as a forecast of any specific account, and talk to a licensed professional for decisions involving real money.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded in your browser it keeps running without an internet connection, since all the math happens on your device. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
