Score Keeper solves the oldest problem at the game table: nobody can find a pen, and the last total was argued about twice. We built Score Pad, a free scoreboard that runs right here in your browser. It opens with two players ready, handles up to eight, and works for board games, card games, ping-pong, darts and mini golf. No signup, no download.
Start scoring now
Tap +1, +5 or +10 under a player to add points. Rename the players, pick a target score if you want a winner, and use Next round to start a fresh line in the table.
How to use it
Each player has a card with a name, a color and five buttons: minus 1, plus 1, plus 5, plus 10, and a custom amount you set under Game settings. The card shows their score, their rank and a label such as Leading or Tied lead, so the leader is clear without relying on color. Undo and Redo step through every change, including round breaks. Z and Y do the same on a keyboard.
Set a target score and the game shows a winner banner the moment someone reaches it. Switch on Lowest score wins for golf or Hearts-style games, where the smallest total leads. The chart below the board draws every player’s running total after each round, and the table lists the points for each round.
Under the chart you will find a house rule for the day, a small twist or mini challenge to try in tonight’s game. It changes every day for everyone. Your games streak counts the days you finish a game. Everything is saved on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Score Keeper
Score Pad keeps the part of a scorekeeping app people actually use at the table: one screen, big buttons, no setup. It adds undo and redo, a target with a winner banner, a lowest-wins mode, a round table and a progress chart, all stored locally.
What it drops is anything that belongs to an installed app. There is no home screen icon, no saved game library, and no backup if the browser clears its site data. We also cannot speak for every feature in the Android app, so check its store page if you need something specific.
Our advice: use Score Pad when you want a board for tonight’s game on whatever device is nearby, including a laptop or a friend’s phone. Install the app if you keep score every week and want it one tap from your home screen.

Score Keeper is a free Android app for tracking points during games, and it makes a good permanent scoreboard on your phone.
If you need a quick counter instead of a full scoreboard, try our tally counter. For games that need a roll first, there is also our dice roller, and our mini golf game is a good excuse to use the lowest-wins mode.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a score keeper I can use online without installing anything?
Yes, the one above. It loads in a few seconds, works on phones and computers, and needs no account. Once the page has loaded it also keeps working without a connection.
How many players can I track?
Two to eight. Each player has a name and a color, and you can add or remove players at any time. Removing someone who already has points asks you to confirm, because their points go with them.
Can I use it for golf or other games where the lowest score wins?
Yes. Turn on Lowest score wins under Game settings. Ranks, the leader label, the chart and the winner banner all flip to favor the smallest total. Negative scores are allowed, so minus buttons work for strokes under par.
Will my scores still be here tomorrow?
Yes, as long as you use the same browser and do not clear its site data. Players, scores, rounds and your streak are saved on your device. Private browsing windows forget everything when they close.
Is this the real Score Keeper app?
No. Score Pad is an original tool we built, inspired by the simple scorekeeping job these apps do. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the publisher of Score Keeper.
