Talking Tom Gold Run

Talking Tom Gold Run built a whole franchise on one simple threat: a raccoon just stole your gold, and now you have to catch him while dodging everything in your path. That chase is the whole appeal, and it does not need an install to work. We built Copper Chase, an original three-lane runner inspired by that same tension, and it loads straight in your browser. No account, no download, no waiting.

How to play

You run down a three-lane street with a raccoon closing in from behind. On a phone, swipe left or right to switch lanes, swipe up to jump low hurdles, and swipe down to slide under overhead bars. On a keyboard, use A/D or the arrow keys to move, W to jump, and S to slide.

A meter at the top tracks how close the raccoon is. Clip an obstacle and he gains ground fast. Grab a blue speed orb and he falls back. He starts far behind and only really starts closing in after the first slow twenty seconds, so early runs are forgiving while later ones get tense. Coins scattered along the route are your score, and the opening stretch of every run follows the same daily route for everyone, so you can compare notes on the same layout. Your best score and daily streak are saved on your device only. Nothing leaves your browser.

How it compares to Talking Tom Gold Run

Copper Chase keeps the mechanic that makes Gold Run’s chase actually work: a visible pursuer whose distance changes in real time based on how well you’re playing, not a fixed timer. Hit an obstacle and he’s suddenly closer. Grab a boost and you buy yourself room to breathe. That rubber-band tension, plus the three-lane swipe controls and short, restart-instantly rounds, is what we reproduced.

What it drops is nearly everything around that loop. There’s no character roster, no home base to decorate, no gold to spend on upgrades, and no separate catch-the-raccoon reversal mode. Coins here just add to your score instead of feeding a meta-progression system, and the raccoon is an original character we drew for this game, not a re-creation of anyone else’s. A single browser file was never going to replicate years of content updates, and it isn’t trying to.

Use Copper Chase for what it’s good at: a thirty-second break on a device that can’t install anything, a way to see if the chase-and-dodge loop still grabs you before you download the real app, or just something to reopen for a quick run between other things.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play Talking Tom Gold Run in a browser?

Not officially. Outfit7 doesn’t ship a browser version of Talking Tom Gold Run, and it isn’t on cloud gaming services either. Copper Chase is our own lightweight runner built around the same chase-and-dodge loop, so you get a taste of the tension with zero setup.

Is this the real Talking Tom Gold Run?

No. Copper Chase is an original game we made, inspired by the core chase mechanic in runners like Talking Tom Gold Run. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Outfit7 in any way. For the real game with Tom, a full character roster, and a home base to upgrade, install the official app from the download links above.

Does Copper Chase work offline?

Yes. Once the page loads, the game makes no network requests at all. Your best score, daily streak, and mute setting are stored on your device with localStorage, so they survive a reload and never get sent anywhere.

Is it free? Are there ads or in-app purchases?

Completely free. No ads, no purchases, no account, no tracking. It’s a single small file that loads faster than most app icons.

What’s the daily route?

The first stretch of every run uses the same obstacle and coin layout for every player on a given day, so everyone starts from the same conditions before the game shifts into its own random pace. It resets at midnight and pairs with a streak counter if you come back day after day.
