TFT: Teamfight Tactics turned drafting a board into its own genre: buy units between rounds, drop them on the grid, and watch the fight play out on its own. No aiming, no combos, just the tension of whether your last-minute pickup was worth the gold. We wanted that loop without an install, so we built Auto Legion, a small original auto-battler that runs right here on this page. Free, no download, no signup.
Play Auto Legion now
Buy a unit from the shop, tap it on the bench to select it, then tap an open cell in your rows to place it. Tap Fight when your board looks ready.
How to play
Each round drops five random units in the shop, drawn from an original roster of twelve, priced from 2 to 7 gold. Buy what you can afford, hold up to three on the bench, then tap a cell in your own rows (the bottom half of the grid) to place a bench unit there. Tap Fight and both boards clash automatically until one side is empty.
Win a round and you bank bonus gold for the next one. Lose and you drop a life, but your board stays put, so you can keep building. Lose three lives and the run ends. Today’s shop and the opposing boards come from the date, so everyone gets the same run, and your best win streak saves on your device with nothing leaving your browser.
How it compares to TFT: Teamfight Tactics
Auto Legion keeps the part of the loop we actually missed: spend gold on a shop that refreshes every round, place units on a grid, then hand the fight over to the AI and watch. Rounds resolve in seconds, a full run takes about a minute or two, and losing a fight always traces back to a placement or purchase you can point to. That is the same tension a good auto-battler round has, just squeezed into a tab.
It also drops almost everything that makes the real game deep. There is no champion roster beyond our twelve original units, no traits or synergies to chase, no items, no augments, and no ranked ladder against seven other live opponents. We built one board against an escalating AI, not a season-long meta to master.
So when should you go play the real thing? The moment you want item combinations, team synergies, or a lobby of real opponents instead of a script. Auto Legion is a fast taste of the buy-place-fight loop; TFT: Teamfight Tactics is the actual competitive game built around it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I play TFT: Teamfight Tactics in a browser?
Not the real thing. TFT: Teamfight Tactics needs the app on your phone or the game client on PC. Auto Legion, the game on this page, is our own original auto-battler that runs entirely in the browser on phone or desktop, so it works even where installs are blocked.
Is this the real TFT: Teamfight Tactics?
No. Auto Legion is an original game we built, inspired by the buy, place, and auto-fight loop that TFT: Teamfight Tactics popularized. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Riot Games in any way. All art, sounds, and units are our own code, and the download links above point to the official app.
What's missing compared to the real game?
Champions, traits, synergies, items, and a live ranked ladder against seven other players. Auto Legion is one grid against a scripted AI that gets tougher each round, built to fit the core loop into a short browser session rather than replace the strategic depth of the actual game.
Is it free?
Completely. No ads, no purchases, no account, and no data collection. Your gold, board, and win streak live in your browser’s local storage and are never sent anywhere.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, the game makes no further network requests, so a dropped connection will not interrupt a run. TFT: Teamfight Tactics itself needs a live connection, since every match runs against real opponents on Riot’s servers.
