How to play
On touch screens, drag left or right anywhere on the road to shift lanes, and hold the GAS or BRAKE button to change speed. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or A and D to steer, and up or down (or space for gas) to control your speed. The highway carries traffic in both directions: same-direction vehicles you overtake on the right, oncoming vehicles you thread past on the left of the median.
Passing close to a vehicle without hitting it counts as a close call and adds bonus points, worth more in the oncoming lanes than the slower lanes on your side. Clip a vehicle and the run ends, with your distance and near-miss count shown on the results screen. Today’s traffic pattern is the same for everyone on Earth, and your best score, distance, and day streak are saved on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.

The highway generates its traffic pattern from today’s date, so every player sees the same layout of vehicles on the same day. A new pattern arrives at midnight, and returning daily is also what builds your streak.
