Converter NOW: Unit Converter by Ferrari D. exists for the moment a recipe lists cups and your kitchen scale reads grams, or a road sign says kilometers and your car reads miles. That moment rarely happens near your app drawer. So we built Unit Loop, a free unit converter that runs right here in your browser. No install, no ads, no signup. Type a number and every common unit updates at once.
Convert units now
It opens with a real example already loaded: 1 mile, converting live to kilometers, meters, feet, and more. Switch categories for weight, temperature, or volume, and drag the slider or edit the number to make it yours.
How to use it
Four tabs cover the conversions people actually need. Length runs meters through miles, yards, feet, and inches. Weight covers kilograms, grams, pounds, ounces, and stone. Volume handles liters, milliliters, gallons, quarts, cups, and fluid ounces. Temperature is its own category on purpose, because converting between Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin is not a simple multiplication. It needs an offset, and Unit Loop gets that formula right at every value, including negative temperatures.
Pick the unit you are converting from in the dropdown, then drag the slider or type a number. Every other unit in that category recalculates immediately below, no button to press. Small plus and minus steps sit next to the slider if you would rather tap than drag. Your last category, unit, and value are saved on your device, so reopening the page picks up right where you left off. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Converter NOW
Unit Loop covers the four conversion categories people reach for most: length, weight, temperature, and volume, all updating live in one list instead of one target unit at a time. The full Converter NOW app goes much further: it adds cooking measurements, currency, area, speed, data storage, and dozens of other categories, plus a searchable unit picker and a history of recent conversions.
We kept the core loop: pick a unit, type a number, watch every conversion move at once. We deliberately left out the long tail of specialty categories and the saved history, because a page you land on mid-search should answer the one conversion you need in seconds, not ask you to install anything first.
Our honest advice: use Unit Loop for a quick length, weight, temperature, or volume conversion while you are cooking, traveling, or double-checking a spec sheet. Install the full app if you regularly need currency, area, or data storage conversions, or want your conversion history saved between sessions.

Frequently asked questions
Can I convert units online without installing an app?
Yes. Unit Loop works in any phone or laptop browser, needs no account, and covers length, weight, temperature, and volume conversions. Your last category, unit, and value stay saved in your browser’s local storage, on your device only.
Is Fahrenheit to Celsius just a simple multiplication?
No, and this trips up more converters than you would expect. Celsius to Fahrenheit is (C × 9/5) + 32, and Fahrenheit to Celsius is (F − 32) × 5/9. Both have an offset, not just a scaling factor. Kelvin only adds or subtracts 273.15 from Celsius, with no offset multiplication involved. Unit Loop’s temperature tab uses the exact formulas, checked against known references like 0°C equaling 32°F and 273.15K.
How accurate are the length, weight, and volume conversions?
They use the standard internationally defined conversion factors, for example 1 mile equals exactly 1.609344 kilometers and 1 kilogram equals approximately 2.20462 pounds. The math is fixed physics and never goes out of date, unlike currency exchange rates, which is why Unit Loop sticks to physical units instead of money.
Is this the official Converter NOW app?
No. Unit Loop is an original tool we built, inspired by the everyday problem Converter NOW: Unit Converter solves. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Ferrari D. If you want the full range of categories and a saved conversion history, get the app from the store above.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page loads, all conversions run locally in your browser with no server calls, so it keeps working even without a connection.
