How to play
Press and drag backwards with your finger or mouse, exactly like pulling a slingshot, then release to fire. The dotted arc previews your flight path. On a keyboard, the arrow keys set angle and power and Space fires. Your comet smashes wooden and stone blocks, and the goal is to pop every glowing core in the level. You get three comets per level, and finishing with shots to spare earns more stars: one comet for three stars, two for two.
Every day brings five new levels seeded from the date, so everyone in the world plays the same layouts you do. Clear all five and the game totals your day score out of a possible fifteen stars. Your best day and your daily streak are saved on your device, and nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Angry Birds 2
We kept the part that made the original a phenomenon: the drag, the release, the arc, and the slow-motion satisfaction of a tower giving way. Rounds are short, restarts are instant, and the star rating gives you a reason to replay a level you already cleared. If you remember Angry Birds Classic fondly, this is the loop you remember.
We deliberately dropped everything Angry Birds 2 added on top. There is no bird selection, no spell cards, no multi-stage levels, no clans, no arena, and no lives meter asking you to wait or pay. Comet Sling has no ads, no purchases, and no account. It also swaps the birds and pigs for comets, blocks, and glowing cores, because this is our own game, not a copy of Rovio’s.
So when should you get the real thing? Angry Birds 2 is the deeper game by a wide margin, with thousands of levels, boss fights, and competitive modes that a single-file browser game cannot match. If you want a campaign that lasts months, it earns the install. If you want two minutes of clean tower-toppling right now, the version above is already open.
