Bloxburg, officially Welcome to Bloxburg, is the Roblox experience that turned “get a job, earn some cash, decorate a house” into one of the platform’s biggest draws. There’s no combat and no win condition, just a small neighborhood, a handful of odd jobs, and a house that slowly looks more like yours. How to play
On a phone, drag the left pad to walk and drag the right side of the screen to look around. On desktop, use WASD or the arrow keys to move and drag with the mouse to look. Each day drops three to five quick jobs around the neighborhood: pick up a glowing package and carry it to the marked mailbox, walk across every uncut lawn tile until the whole patch is mowed, or stand near a shop counter for a moment to restock the shelf. Finish a job and coins land in your bank instantly, no menus involved.
Walk up to your own front door and you’re stepped straight inside, no loading screen. Stand near an empty spot and a button appears offering to place that piece of furniture for its listed price, or repaint your walls and roof at either paint station. Everything you buy stays there the next time you visit, and every day brings a new day number with a fresh mix of jobs, so there’s a reason to check back. All of it, coins, furniture, and paint choices, stays saved on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Bloxburg
Blockstead keeps the part of Bloxburg that people actually come back for: earn a little, spend a little, watch your own house fill in over time. The jobs are quick and honest about being simplified, walk to a spot and something happens, rather than a full simulation of driving a delivery truck or running a cash register. The house here has one room and eight furniture slots plus two paint choices, not a sprawling multi-story build with a real estate market and hundreds of catalog items.
What it drops is everything that makes Bloxburg a platform rather than a standalone game: no multiplayer, no chat, no purchasable Robux items, no jobs beyond the handful we built, and no ongoing content updates from a live studio. If you want the real depth, actual building tools, a full town of other players, careers with proper progression, you want the real thing. Blockstead is closer to a five-minute daily errand run that happens to leave something behind.

No. Blockstead is an original browser game inspired by the earn-and-build loop that made Welcome to Bloxburg popular, built entirely from scratch by our team. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Roblox Corporation or the creators of Bloxburg in any way.
Can I play Bloxburg in a browser?
Bloxburg itself runs inside the Roblox app or Roblox’s own browser client, not as a standalone web page. Blockstead gives you a similar work-then-build loop without opening Roblox at all.
Does Blockstead work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. There are no server calls after that, no accounts, and no ads to fetch. Your coins, furniture, and paint choices are saved locally in your browser, so they’re tied to this device and this browser.
