Coin Flip Free exists for the moment two people disagree and nobody has a coin. We built Flip Desk, a free coin flip that runs right here in your browser. Tap the coin, watch it spin and bounce, and get a result you can trust. No install, no signup, and it works fine on a phone.
Flip a coin now
Tap the coin or press Space to toss it. Turn the sound on if you want to hear it land.
How to use it
Tap the coin, press the Flip button, or hit Space or Enter on a keyboard. The result appears as plain text under the coin as well, so it reads clearly on any screen.
Pick a mode above the coin. Single is one toss. Best of 3, 5 or 7 runs a series and tells you who wins. Many coins tosses up to 10 at once and sums them up. Decide lets you rename the two sides, say “Pizza” and “Sushi”, and the coin picks for you.
Below the coin you get a running tally with percentages, your current streak, and the last 20 flips. The daily flip shows today’s call, the same for everyone, and a counter tracks how many days in a row you have visited. Everything is saved on your device and nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Coin Flip Free
Flip Desk keeps what people open a coin flip app for: one tap, a believable toss, an answer. It adds a few things we wanted ourselves, like best-of series for settling a dispute properly and custom labels for choices that are not heads or tails.
It drops what a browser tab cannot do well. There is no home screen widget, no collection of coin designs, and no way to work without loading the page once. The native app is also the better pick if you flip often and want it one tap away on your phone.
Our honest take: use Flip Desk when you are already at a screen and need a quick, fair call. Install the app when coin flipping is a habit.

Frequently asked questions
Is the online coin flip really 50/50?
Yes. Each flip takes one random bit from your browser’s secure random generator, the same source used for cryptography. The animation is only for show and never decides the outcome. Over a thousand flips the split lands very close to even, and you can watch your own tally and percentages to check.
Can I flip a coin online without downloading anything?
Yes. Flip Desk runs on this page in any modern browser, on phone or desktop. Tap the coin and you have an answer, no install and no account.
Is this the official Coin Flip Free app?
No. Flip Desk is an original tool we built, inspired by the quick-decision job apps like Coin Flip Free do. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to that app’s developer. Use the links above for the official app.
Can I use it to make a choice between two things?
Yes. Switch to Decide mode, type your two options, and flip. Your labels are saved on your device for next time.
Does it work offline and is my data private?
Once the page has loaded, flipping needs no network. Your tally, history, labels and streaks are stored in your browser only. Share sends just the result line of your last flip, and only when you press it.
