Apps like IQ Test tap into a simple itch: can you spot the pattern before the clock runs out. We built Mind Spark, a free logic puzzle quiz that runs right in your browser. Number sequences, odd shapes, pattern completion, quick analogies, twelve questions, one score at the end. No install, no account, no waiting.

How it works
Each round is twelve questions pulled from four puzzle types: what number comes next in a sequence, which shape doesn’t belong, what completes a visual pattern, and simple word analogies. Every question gets a soft fifteen-second timer shown as a thin progress bar. Run out the clock and the quiz just moves on to the next question, no penalty screen, no scolding.
Answer selection gives instant feedback: the correct choice highlights right away, so there’s no fake pause before you find out how you did. At the end you get a puzzle score out of twelve, a breakdown by category, and a comparison to your personal best.
The first round you load each day is the daily challenge, built from that date so everyone gets the identical twelve questions. Finish it and a one-tap “play again” gives you a fresh, randomized round instead. A streak counter tracks how many days in a row you’ve shown up for the daily set. Your best score and streak live in your browser’s local storage, nothing leaves your device.
How it compares to IQ Test
IQ Test is built around an actual timed test format with a broader question bank, difficulty scaling, and a final number presented as an estimated IQ score. It’s designed for someone who wants that specific kind of assessment and wants to retake it over time.
Mind Spark keeps the part that makes puzzles like this fun to return to: fast questions, instant feedback, a score to beat. We deliberately left out any claim to a real IQ measurement. What you get here is a puzzle score and a friendly read on how the round went, not a psychometric result. There’s no adaptive difficulty, no large item bank, and no attempt to map your answers onto a validated scale.
If you want a quick, honest brain warm-up between tasks or a daily habit to chase a streak, this covers it well. If you’re looking for a structured test experience with a broader question set and a scored result modeled on IQ-test conventions, the full app is built for that specifically.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a real IQ test?
No, and we want to be upfront about that. Mind Spark is a fun logic and pattern-recognition quiz inspired by the style of questions found in IQ tests, not a validated psychometric instrument. It doesn’t produce a real IQ score, and no twelve-question browser quiz honestly could. Treat your puzzle score as a light, entertaining read on how sharp your pattern-spotting felt that day, not a measurement of intelligence.
Is this the real IQ Test app?
No. Mind Spark is an original quiz we built, inspired by the pattern-puzzle idea behind IQ Test. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Aliaksandr Uvarau or IQ Test in any way. For the full test format and a larger question bank, download the official app using the link above.
Does everyone get the same daily challenge?
Yes. The twelve questions in a given day’s challenge are generated from that date, so everyone playing that day sees the identical set. Your score is then compared against your own personal best, not against other players.
What happens if I run out of time on a question?
Nothing dramatic. The timer is a soft nudge, not a hard cutoff with a penalty. When it runs out, the quiz shows the correct answer and moves to the next question, and that question just doesn’t count toward your correct total.
Is it free and does it work offline?
Yes to both. There’s no signup and nothing to pay for. Once the page loads, the quiz is a single file with no outside requests, so it keeps working even if your connection drops. Your best score and streak are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device only.
Can I play this on my phone?
Yes. The layout and answer buttons are sized for touch and adjust down to small phone screens. On a keyboard, number keys 1 through 4 answer just as well as tapping.
