How to play
A tile is open, and safe to tap, only when nothing sits on top of it and at least one of its left or right side is completely clear. Open tiles look bright, blocked ones look dimmed, so you can tell at a glance what is actually playable. Tap one open tile, then tap a matching one, and both vanish with a small burst of color. Clear every tile on the board to win.
Stuck with no valid pair left? A Shuffle button appears only when the board has genuinely run out of moves, and it reshuffles the remaining symbols without changing the layout underneath. Need a nudge instead? Hint briefly glows one real matching pair. You can also play with just a keyboard: arrow keys move a cursor tile to tile, and Enter selects it. Every layout is generated from today’s date, so everyone gets the same board, and every single one is checked in advance to make sure a full clear is actually possible. Your time, move count, and day streak are saved on this device. Nothing leaves your browser.

No. Tile Twins is a game we built ourselves, sharing only the idea of a daily tile-matching layout. Its board, artwork, and code are all original, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to MobilityWare or its Mahjong Solitaire app.
Is every daily layout actually solvable?
Yes. Each day’s board is generated by building the layout in reverse, placing matched pairs into the two most open positions until the whole board is filled, which guarantees at least one complete clear path exists. We verify this in advance for every layout before it ships, so a stuck board only ever happens from moves you make along the way, not from a broken layout.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. It is a single small file with no ongoing connection needed to keep playing.
Where is my best time and streak stored?
In your browser’s local storage, on your device only. We do not run accounts or sync to a server, so clearing your browser data resets your best time, best moves, and streak.
Do I get a new board every day?
Yes. The layout is generated from today’s date, so it changes at midnight and everyone gets the same board that day. You can also hit Restart any time to replay that same daily board and try to beat your own time or move count.
