Shadow Fight 2 turned two black silhouettes trading punches against a blazing sky into one of the most searched fighting games on Android. Nekki’s game wraps that duel in gear drops, energy timers, and a story campaign, all locked behind an install. We wanted just the duel, so we built Glowfist, a small silhouette fighting game that runs right here on this page. Free, no download, no signup. Your first punch is ten seconds away.

How to play
You and a rival fighter face off as black silhouettes against a glowing sky. Tap Punch for a quick jab, Kick for a slower hit that does more damage, or hold Block to cut incoming damage down to almost nothing. Land hits to fill your special meter, then tap Special once it is full for a heavy finishing blow. On a keyboard, press J to punch, K to kick, hold L to block, and Space to unleash your special.
Each round lasts under a minute. Win one and the next round starts immediately with a tougher, faster rival. Lose one and the run ends, with your total rounds won shown as your score. A daily modifier changes the rules slightly for everyone playing today, and a streak counter tracks how many days in a row you have shown up. Your best score is saved on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to Shadow Fight 2
Glowfist keeps the part of Shadow Fight 2 that made it stick: two silhouettes reading each other’s rhythm, punches and kicks, and blocking at the right moment to turn a beating into an opening. The bright gradient background and stark black fighters are our own take on that same visual idea, and the escalating rival mirrors the way Nekki’s story mode keeps handing you sharper opponents.
We deliberately left out everything else. There is no gear to loot, no energy timer limiting how often you can play, no weapons or armor system, no story chapters, and no in-app currency. That is a real trade-off. You get an instant duel with zero waiting, but you lose the years of content Nekki built on top of the core fight: dozens of weapons, a full campaign, survival and tournament modes, and a progression loop that rewards long-term play.
Treat Glowfist as the sparring session before the real fight. If you find yourself timing blocks and baiting kicks, the full game is where that instinct pays off with actual depth. Nekki has spent over a decade tuning enemy variety, weapon balance, and animation for Shadow Fight 2, and our four moves are a sketch of that range.
Get the full game
Shadow Fight 2 is free to play on Android, with optional in-app purchases for gear and energy refills. It remains one of the most downloaded fighting games on the platform, and its campaign, weapon variety, and boss fights give the duel loop a home our browser version does not try to replace.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play Shadow Fight 2 in a browser?
Nekki does not offer an official browser version of Shadow Fight 2. The game on this page, Glowfist, is our own original silhouette fighter built around the same punch-kick-block loop, and it runs in any modern browser on phone or desktop. To play the real Shadow Fight 2, you need the Android app.
Is this the real Shadow Fight 2?
No. Glowfist is an original game we built, inspired by the silhouette dueling that made Shadow Fight 2 famous. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nekki in any way. All art and sound in our version are original work, and the download links above point to the official app store.
Is it free?
Completely. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, and no data collection. Shadow Fight 2 itself is also free to download, though it sells optional in-app purchases such as gear and energy refills.
Does it work offline?
Once this page has loaded, Glowfist makes no further network requests, so it keeps working through connection drops. Shadow Fight 2 needs an internet connection for parts of its progression and store, even though some fights can run offline.
Does my progress save?
Your best streak and your daily play streak are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device, and they never leave it. There is no account and no cloud sync, so a different browser or device starts fresh. Shadow Fight 2 can sync progress to a Nekki account, which follows you across devices.
